the
artist
I’m Anna, an artist based in the heart of Lancaster, PA.
I discovered ceramics in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the practice because it is just that: a practice. While paints, pastels, charcoal, and even digital work came relatively easy for me, ceramics allowed me to let go of the grip of perfectionism.
Ceramic work provides space for meditative contemplation without the pressure of having a finished work of art in one sitting. Reflection is built into the process. Between throwing the vessel, trimming the piece, carefully smoothing the clay, making glazes, designing patterns, sanding, applying glaze, and firing the piece, my art has come to be synonymous with patience, reflection, and growth.
Over the past few years, I invested a lot of time to create a home ceramics studio and I am thrilled to have the tools to transform a lump of clay into functional art.
I couldn’t be happier spending my time in the studio and I’m deeply thankful I have the opportunity to share my art.
Thank you for stopping by!

Every pot is designed, wedged, thrown, refined, glazed, fired, and shipped by yours truly in my home studio here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Each series is made with care in small batches and fired up to 2330˚F.
I strive to create quality pieces and aim for consistency in every series, however as each piece is handmade, there will be slight variations in the forms and glazes. These small details add character and life to the piece that I treasure - I find beauty in the mark of a maker that often cannot be found in commercial dinnerware.
All pots are dishwasher and microwave-safe, however, I would recommend handwashing to preserve the piece.
